“La Vita” is a sunny Italian restaurant in the centre of Gdynia suitable for a quick lunch, and for a long dinner with friends. The owners worked for an Italian family for many years, gaining experience in running a restaurant, and 6 years ago they decided to open their own restaurant. According to the Italian tradition, family is the most important thing in life, and “La Vita” is a family business with the owners (siblings) doing their best to create an easy-going, family atmosphere. The restaurant specializes only in Italian cuisine, the house wines and coffees also come exclusively from Italy. Also some of the other products like ham, artichokes or parmesan cheese are specially imported. Apart from a variety of pasta dishes, very popular among the customers are also filletto Toscana, i.e. stuffed sirloin with Parma ham and gorgonzola cheese, as well as seafood dishes.
The interior design is modern but at the same time it is also very sunny and warm. The main room is dominated by a range of orange and yellow shades – the walls and the lamps follow this particular colour scheme, complemented by the warm brown tables and chairs. The section that houses the bar, which is the colour of red wine, is darker, but is brightened up by humorous, mock-historical images.
