“Sztuczka” is a modern restaurant in Gdynia with a club atmosphere located in the city centre and yet at the same time, away from the urban noise. Where does the name Sztuczka come from? Well, the owner of the restaurant, who is also its Chef, wishes to demonstrate a variety of culinary tricks to the guests, surprise them with the taste and form of the served dishes. “Sztuczka” is the only restaurant in Gdynia which specialises in signature cuisine with elements of molecular gastronomy, utilising the scientific knowledge of cooking. The aim of molecular gastronomy is to obtain pure flavours, in unusual ways and sometimes by means of very surprising combinations. In the restaurant you can sample traditional flavours, in unusual arrangements. The Chef enthusiastically follows the global culinary trends and innovations and develops his own concepts. The menu is simple and not overloaded, and it focuses on fresh, local produce and seasonality of dishes. The tasting or the degustation menu is noteworthy, and it provides customers with an opportunity to try some of the most interesting dishes available in the restaurant. It consists of a starter, soup, main course, dessert and a drink. The “Trick” is a small, bright and intimate interior with relaxing music in the background. Huge windows open up the premises to the city, encouraging the Gdynia residents to drop in for a coffee or a bigger meal. On warm days, the shop fronts can be opened out so that the restaurant extends onto the pavement. The design is urban contemporary.
